The Council on Financial Education Accreditation (“CFEA”) Accreditation Standards were created to provide accredited organizations with a consistent framework to:

  • Evaluate their financial literacy efforts;
  • Develop, receive and assimilate constructive feedback from constituents;
  • Use feedback to improve the effectiveness of their financial education and counseling services for their constituents; and
  • Distinguish themselves as providers of effective financial education and counseling services.

Organizations that meet Accreditation Standards have demonstrated that they use sound business practices and provide effective financial education and counseling services. Consumers can easily identify accredited organizations through the CFEA Accredited logo. Learn how your organization can become accredited now!
